With the Close Conversation Limiting feature, which can be adjusted in the Plantronics Hub software, you can even adjust the level of noise cancellation. 

You can talk for up to 7 hours on each battery in the Savi 8245-M headset, but you can talk for almost as long as you want by swapping out the two included batteries frequently. You can recharge the other inside the base station while the first is being used. You can use the base with a softphone application on a Mac or Windows-based PC by connecting it to your existing desk phone using the included cabling. The USB connection to a PC is the only way the battery can be recharged. When in line of sight of the base and using DECT technology, the headset has a wireless range of up to 590 feet, making it ideal for office walking. You can use the headset as a Bluetooth headset by pairing it with your smartphone if you want to use it on the go
