Our Lead Referral Program is a way for each of us to focus on what we do best and, in turn, service the customer in the best way. As a service to your customers, you may stock certain headset styles and try to keep up with an ever-changing assortment of products, but it is not where you want to spend your time.

The sales managers at UnifiedCommunications.com remain on the forefront of headset product knowledge with up-to-the-minute product information regarding enhancements and availability. The sales managers’ continuous training includes everyday use of a variety of headsets so that they themselves are end users and can sympathize with and handle a customer’s needs and concerns. Each sales manager can talk knowledgeably with customers about compatibility and product features and recommend headsets that will work beautifully with that customer’s enterprise. Same-day turnaround on orders is achieved on all in-stock orders, and thorough follow up occurs with post-installation customers.

The Program

The Referral

When would you refer a customer? Anytime you feel a customer has the potential to purchase a headset. Those customers could be ones that asked to purchase headsets, ones that requested information or just ones that you feel would be a good candidate for headsets.

There could be times after a sale that you think a customer would be served well by a follow up call from us, referencing the product or services they purchased from you, and suggesting appropriate headsets.

You make the determination as to whom to refer, but know that your customers will be safe in our hands.

To Refer a Customer

Just call us at 800-641-6416 or send an email to info@unifiedcommunications.com. Enter REFERRAL PROGRAM in the subject line and include your contact information. We’ll take care of contacting the customer within the next 24 hours, making sure to let them know that we are your preferred Plantronics headset supplier.

The Sale and Commission

When do you see the result? As we follow up and communicate with the customer, we will be moving them toward a headset sale. Sometimes this happens immediately; other times, not so quickly. Almost all of our customers have to deal with budget timing and that can impact when a sale occurs. We don’t let that stop us, though. We keep all customers on our radar screen and schedule follow up calls..

Once a quarter, you will receive a statement showing customer sales and payment for your percentage of the sale (details in Agreement).

Commissions are based on our profit margin of each line item of a sale.

Time Line

Years are based on when the Headset Prospect is referred and accepted into our database of leads. For example, commissions on sales for a prospect referred and accepted on January 15, 2014 would be paid on Year 1 rate until January 15, 2015. On January 16, 2015, the commission would slide to the Year 2 rate. On January 16, 2016, the commission would slide to the Year 3 rate. At the end of the three (3) year cycle, the Headset Prospect will be considered a UnifiedCommunications.com customer/lead and commissions would cease.
